ORA Partners with Sustainability Leader Lindsley Lighting

Clearly, specifiers are increasingly demanding transparency in the materials and lifecycle of products, along with efficiencies and recycling in every step along the life cycle. ORA is excited to partner with Alan Lindsley, AIA, LEED GA; Karen Jess-Lindsley, MBA; and the entire Lindsley Lighting team, bringing their made-in-America products to the New York City metropolitan lighting community.

Lindsley Lighting takes a sustainability-forward approach to modernist LED lighting fixtures, and it all begins with minimalism. The low profile of LEDs combined with timeless designs results in contemporary sconces and cylinders for both indoors and out. “Our aim is to minimize the carbon footprint of our fixtures from development through recycling. As new technologies and information emerge we will continuously look for ways to lighten the impact of our fixtures,” said Founder and Chief Design Officer Alan Lindsley. Lindsley requires that all products and manufacturing processes be RoHS3 compliant, an EU standard that eliminates toxic substances.

Reed Collection

Reed Collection

A huge variety of cylinders from 1 inch to 4 inches in diameter provide up to 3000 lm for workhorse lighting and high ceilings. Choose standard body heights starting at 6.5 inches or any custom height all the way up to 60 inches! There’s stem and cord pendants, of course, but the Tule surface mount seamlessly attaches to ceiling, while the slimmer Reed has a knife-edge flange that blends in, or an optional mud ring.

Tule Collection

The proprietary real rust finish in their Reed CorTen-ish collection, must be seen in person. Each fixture is slightly different, which only adds to the natural beauty of the finish. Fun to design with and still highly sustainable, HLO Drop Lens Constellations, in anodized or powder coat, are amazing statement pieces.

HANDS-ON CRAFTSMANSHIP — UNSURPASSED QUALITY!

To create wooden shades and accents, Barn Light Electric artisans use hand tools, not automated machines, and pay attention to the particular grain in each piece. Blocks of wood are turned on a lathe using traditional techniques to work the wood into the desired shape and dimension. As every piece of wood has its own character and each is crafted solely by hand, these truly become one-of-a-kind fixtures.

Customized Modern Lighting
“Designed to be Designed”

O’Blaney Rinker  is excited to be representing Modulightor in the New York and New Jersey areas.

For over 40 years, Modulightor has been a favorite of many top design professionals. Known for high style, but also for a unique ability to solve lighting problems, Modulightor fixtures have that right mix of aesthetic and technical sophistication. Their customized solutions offer a variety of art lights, accent lighting, linear pendants, wall washers, sconces, vanity lights, chandeliers, and task lights for you to choose and design.

Modulightor’s owner, Ernst Wagner founded Modulightor with the modernist architect Paul Rudolph. Together they developed its modular, flexible, and adaptable lighting systems — all based on Rudolph’s observations on light and its relationship to space, form and surface. Paul Rudolph’s original vision continues today, with every Modulightor light fixture built. The fixtures are created to your specifications in Paul Rudolph’s designed townhouse in the middle of New York’s decorative arts district.
