Axolight is an Italian lighting design company based in the United States and Italy. They design, engineer, manufacture, and distribute high-end contemporary design solutions implementing cutting-edge technologies. Every Axolight product, whether it’s a standard or bespoke production, is projected, developed, tested, and hand assembled in Scorzè, Venice. Their US headquarters is based in Danbury, CT.

Axolight stands out for its creativity, technical know-how, and their highly skilled craftsmen. They have developed a collection of over 50 models—using over 12 different materials. Playful, sophisticated, and timeless, their collections are a unique embellishment for architectural projects.

Axolight’s Bell (above left) brings together an important aesthetic identity, excellent lighting performance and acoustic properties in one. Its pongé fabric, thanks to its texture, is both flame-retardant and acoustic. Its Equivalent Sound Absorbing Area up to 4.63, allows Bell to reduce the noise as far as 59%.

Virtus (above right) is a stroke of light that combines lightness and grace, generating luminous architectural projects able to personalize the space in a very original way.

Axolight’s best performing large scale pendant is Layers. If you are in Nashville at any time, check out the Layers cluster at the new Nashville Amazon.com offices (shown above).

Axolight’s products range from the small table lamp to the giant suspension lamp, adding an original and lively touch to any kind of space.

The Pivot (above left) leads us towards a mathematical dimension of design and lighting. The beauty of the Pivot lies in the infinite styling and lighting possibilities, all of which can be created starting from a single lighting spot. This system becomes a playful structural element in space, very suitable to define spaces, both from a lighting and architectural perspective.

The Skirt (above right) lampshade is composed of a fabric that also has sound-absorbing properties, which allow it to reduce noise by up to 53%, thanks to its Equivalent Absorption Area which reaches a maximum of 3.55.

O’Blaney Rinker is delighted to bring Axolight’s top sellers to the local specification community and look forward to contributing to stunning, high-design lighting solutions.

9/11 Memorial Museum

Eos Lightmedia was contracted to supply, install and focus the majority of lighting for the museum. What would normally be a relatively straightforward task—lighting a museum—was instead a highly sensitive one: Eos needed to realize the carefully constructed vision of the design team from Fisher Marantz Stone, within the constraints of site conditions, local contractors and New York labor unions.
