On October 7th, O’Blaney Rinker hosted “Homecoming at the Hangar” at the Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum.

New York lighting design studios, architectural firms, and others in the lighting industry gathered to view hands-on demos of the latest technologies and newest product releases from the following O’Blaney Rinker Associates family of manufacturer-partners:

Barn Light Electric
Dado Lighting
Eos Lightmedia

Forum
Lucent

Radiant
Tivoli

The quality of the attendee struck me the most as there were lots of big name firms as well as independent designers. It harkened to a different era when one or two people worked a booth and demonstrated product to a small group of people and those waves of groups just kept coming and coming, and coming,” stated Randy Reid of the Edison Report

This single-day event included a walkthrough of the manufacturers’ tabletops, and the opportunity to explore the museum’s most-comprehensive historical exhibits! The evening offered food, cocktails, and live music outdoors on the Fantail! Overlooking the Hudson River and the New Jersey skyline, the fantail was the ideal outdoor setting to enjoy a magnificent view of the sunset. The ship’s design provides a natural awning, convenient for all types of weather. Visit our Homecoming at the Hangar page for photo highlights »
