Barn Light Transforms Historic New York Building

Barn Light customized pendants were the perfect solution for a 4,000-square-foot building which will serve as a printing facility for the New York Police Department—a historic building that sits in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Working with the design team, we successfully addressed the specific needs—aesthetics, functionality, performance for various work spaces, and met the latest energy code standards for this historic building.

For the larger, open spaces, Avalon Chain Hung Pendant was utilized. The smaller spaces, including the kitchenette and offices, demanded smaller fixtures but with plenty of illumination. The Wilcox LED Deep Bowl Pendant was used for its eye-catching style.

The bathrooms in this historic building got an upgrade by using both Wilcox LED Deep Bowl Pendant Lights and matching Wilcox LED Deep Bowl Gooseneck Lights to give these spaces plenty of light. Gooseneck lights were customized with 14″ shades, a powder coat Black finish, and G22 gooseneck arms along with the addition of cast guard-and-glass option with frosted glass.

We were thrilled to be part of this project and enjoyed working with the design team.
