Bover Wins Interior Design Best of Year Honoree

In December 2017, Bover was chosen as Interior Design Best of Year Honoree for their outdoor/floor lamp, Cornet and table lamp, Drip. Interior Design’s Best of Year is the design industry’s premiere design awards program, honoring the most significant work of the year and recognizes designers, architects and manufacturers from around the globe.

Cornet is made of high-density polyurethane, which is a hard and resistant material that is perfect for public spaces. The Cornet is mainly used as a bollard lamp but can quickly connect with a wider reality: interior wall lamps, or the post version for intermediate spaces.  Cornet includes a dimmable LED source that distributes light through the lamp’s undulating layers, creating an atmosphere that is natural, slightly broken, but never dominant. The Drip is a lighting system that not only evolves into various product types (wall lights, table lamps, floor lamps with USB connection, among others), but also into other lampshade concepts. The new shade embodies the Drip’s spirit; simple, minimalist and with straight lines.
