ORA’s New Manufacturer-Partner Vision3 Maximizes Flexibility

Vision3 Lighting manufactures spec-grade architectural lighting products in central California, offering a variety of highly configurable wall mounts, sign lighters, in-grounds, and flood/accent lights; as well as path, step, and down lights. Each and every fixture is suited for interior as well as wet-location applications and designed to withstand environmental challenges. All fixtures are tested to US and Canadian safety standards.

Ease of Use. Configurable Solutions.

Vision3 products are designed with ease of use and durability in mind. Their patented K2 knuckle design provides full 360° rotational aiming, and the self-locking taper secures the knuckle in place— a perfect solution for wall or ceiling mount applications. Larger set screws facilitate the installation process. To prevent water leakage, products have thicker wall caps, optimized positioning of the O-ring, and higher O-ring compression.

The large selection of cap styles and cutoffs provides plenty of options, along with standard materials, such as aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and cast bronze. Or choose a batch powder coating system offering 14 standard and virtually any custom color. This allows designers to choose fixtures best suited for both the design scheme and the environmental conditions.

Vision3 LED systems that use industry-standard, interchangeable components to offer easy flexibility and fast implementation of the latest technologies. The 1200 lm, integral-driver option allows easy installation and sleek fixtures. Again, a variety of mounting configurations and styles offer four field-replaceable beampatterns, and pushbutton selection of four different outputs. Several CCTs can be specified along with reliable 120V phase-cut or 0–10V dimming. The LEDSense® closed-loop thermal control system maximizes light output while assuring long-term lumen maintenance.

Quick Ship

Vision3 Lighting’s  30,000 sqft metal casting facility is the largest brass and bronze jobbing foundry in the Western United States. And in-house CNC machining produces precision parts of various metal alloys, including aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, and stainless. CNC metal stamping and fabricating equipment ensure that each product is impeccably produced from start to finish.

Fast delivery is available due to vertical manufacturing and the wide selection of standard finishes and mountings. Vision3 boasts an excellent on-time shipping record with most orders, large and small, arriving early.

ORA Partners with Sustainability Leader Lindsley Lighting

Clearly, specifiers are increasingly demanding transparency in the materials and lifecycle of products, along with efficiencies and recycling in every step along the life cycle. ORA is excited to partner with Alan Lindsley, AIA, LEED GA; Karen Jess-Lindsley, MBA; and the entire Lindsley Lighting team, bringing their made-in-America products to the New York City metropolitan lighting community.

Lindsley Lighting takes a sustainability-forward approach to modernist LED lighting fixtures, and it all begins with minimalism. The low profile of LEDs combined with timeless designs results in contemporary sconces and cylinders for both indoors and out. “Our aim is to minimize the carbon footprint of our fixtures from development through recycling. As new technologies and information emerge we will continuously look for ways to lighten the impact of our fixtures,” said Founder and Chief Design Officer Alan Lindsley. Lindsley requires that all products and manufacturing processes be RoHS3 compliant, an EU standard that eliminates toxic substances.

Reed Collection

Reed Collection

A huge variety of cylinders from 1 inch to 4 inches in diameter provide up to 3000 lm for workhorse lighting and high ceilings. Choose standard body heights starting at 6.5 inches or any custom height all the way up to 60 inches! There’s stem and cord pendants, of course, but the Tule surface mount seamlessly attaches to ceiling, while the slimmer Reed has a knife-edge flange that blends in, or an optional mud ring.

The proprietary real rust finish in their Reed CorTen-ish collection, must be seen in person. Each fixture is slightly different, which only adds to the natural beauty of the finish. Fun to design with and still highly sustainable, HLO Drop Lens Constellations, in anodized or powder coat, are amazing statement pieces.

Eklipse Lighting Showcases Product Line

Sylvie from Eklipse Lighting traveled to NYC from Montreal to spread the word on their highly impressive, well-engineered product line consisting of teeny tiny form factors. And she did NOT disappoint!

Their signature products include the PROXI—the latest addition to their award winning small form linear LED family. PROXI was designed to offer outstanding light performance and distribution in an almost invisible millwork detail.

The PIXIS™ family is a gem of innovation and ingenuity, very small but sturdy and easy-to-use, this mini-LED spotlight has a magnetically assembled snoot which handles field-interchangeable optics of 18°, 24° and 41°. Completely independent from one another, each head can rotate 360° and pivot on 80° for maximum light control.

Patented and designed to be the quietest light bridge in the world, ADENA SQUARE™ (shown below left) perfectly conceals its light and totally eliminates undesirable glare. The ADENA SQUARE™ is also uncompromising on light distribution. Its light floods the entire usable space in a display case, assuring generous coverage even when products are set onto elevating accessories, such as neckforms and risers. Perfect for showcases, displays for retail/commercial, museums, exhibits, and similar applications.

We love the beautiful install of Eklipse Lighting’s miniature Pixis spot lighting at the Christian Dior exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. (below right)
